Booking Terms

Bookings - To avoid disappointment we recommend that apartments be reserved by telephone. The booking form should then be completed and sent with a deposit of one-third the total rental cost to reach us within 7 days of the telephone reservation. If we have not received the deposit and completed form within 7 days we will assume that the booking is no longer required and reserve the right to re-let. (Cheques made payable to ‘The Grange’ please).

Balance -
The balance of the cost of your holiday is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival. (Please again make cheques payable to ‘The Grange’).

Overseas Guests -
We ask that the remainder of your holiday cost be sent to us 4 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Payment should be made by either (a) a sterling cheque drawn on a London bank made payable to “The Grange” or (b) Eurocheque(s) to a maximum value of £400 per cheque.

Arrival/Departure -
To allow us sufficient time for cleaning and bed linen changes, apartments will become available at 3.00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. In this regard we would appreciate guests vacating their apartment no later than 10.00 a.m. on the day of their departure.

Cancellations -
Should you be unable to take up your booking please telephone us as soon as possible. We will do our best to re-let the apartment but if we are unsuccessful you will be liable for the total cost. We therefore recommend you take out Cancellation Insurance, which will provide cover for a small premium in the event you are forced to cancel.

Apartments - The maximum number of persons in each apartment are not to be exceeded. “Enderley” sleeps 6 + cot, “The Pines” sleeps 6 + cot, “Larkrise” sleeps 4, “ Dovecot” sleeps 2. We are happy for guests to bring their own travel cots. Please note all apartments are non-smoking.

Pets - We ask that pets are kept off the furniture, are not left unattended in the apartment and are held on a lead in the grounds.
